We are a local independent charity providing a luncheon club for the 60’s.

Everyone involved in the Centre is delighted to be back and all have worked hard to overcome the problems presented by anti-virus regulations. As Josie Marsters, Treasurer and Volunteer at Age Concern, explained:
“ We are not just a café or restaurant. We are providing a service for our Senior Community who needed to be completely shielded from the virus for months.
For many, this re-opening might be their first outing since March, and we must be 100% certain that our lunch club is as safe as possible. Our members will find somethings have changed but we hope they understand that we just want to ensure they are safe and can enjoy themselves with their pals again.”
With your help we can do more for some of the most isolated and vulnerable of our community by providing them with a meeting place for socialising and a healthy home cooked meal.
Equality and Diversity is very important to us. We recognise and value individual differences and seek to treat people fairly with respect.
As a charity we rely on grants and donations. We continue to raise funds to support the service we provide for the local community and surrounding area.

Volunteering is fun and rewarding – we are always looking to recruit – why not join our friendly team?  Contact Josie Marsters directly on 07445 941 628 for further details

Could you help us by donating your time as a volunteer?  Could you help us by donating finances to ensure the service we provide continues as it has done since 1970?  Do you have a suggestion or comment about our work?  Do you have a compliment or complaint?  If you can help in any way, please contact us by completing the form below, give us a call or simply drop in for a chat.  Photo: Warburtons donate goodie bags for each of our 70 odd members
